I have other Keen's all size 7 1/2. Ordered these and they were way too big, not sure if mis-sized. I tried insoles, my heel still came out as I was walking.
The shoe itself is perfect, well made andnice support.

Love these shoes! I typically wear a 7 M. After reading several online reviews I ordered a 6 1/2 M. They fit perfectly. I suggest everyone order 1/2 size down. I usually wear PEDS or low socks, but even without there was no rubbing on my heels or toes, and no discomfort on a slight bunion on my right foot. I took off a star because these really lack cushioning on the insole or footbed. I tried a gel insole but it lifted my heel too high and the back of the shoe didn't fit as well. I found the solution in a memory foam, cut to fit, insole. Now they are perfect and comfy. These are a go with everything shoe: leggings, capri's, jeans and casual dresses or skirts. I am going on a trip and only taking these shoes. (EZ on and off at airports) I bought the Beet Red and the color is great. The elastic was a little snug for my high instep but loosened with the second wearing. Just about perfect!

Cute shoe that is a nice alternative to sneakers. Runs slightly large, so if you are between sizes order down. Not particularly comfortable, no arch support or cushioning.
I don't know if Sierra Trading's computer system was having a bad day or what, but figuring out how to exchange the shoes for a smaller size was next to impossible. I had to use " live chat" 3 separate times to figure it out

I typically wear a size 7 in Keene shoes, but other reviewers mentioned that this particular style runs large. And, it does. The heel of the pair I received kept sliding off, so I felt as if I was almost wearing flip flops. The style is very cute. The magenta/berry color is my favorite color, and therefore, the shoes match everything in my entire wardrobe! So, the purchase seemed a very sensible choice, since I would be getting a lot of use out of these shoes. I solved the problem of the sizing by purchasing one pair, size 7 and wearing light socks in cooler weather, and a 6.5 size to wear without socks in warmer weather. With a combination of Sierra Trading Posts coupons and special deals, I was able to afford both pairs for the price of one!

About Keen

Keen shoes have been helping feet find adventure since 2003, and it all began with the signature KEEN.PROTECT toe bumper. It might seem strange to build a footwear company around a feature, but that iconic toe bumper is more than just a style add-on. It’s what allows Keen sandals to hit the trails and provide the best toe protection possible. In fact, Keen was one of the first footwear companies to make closed-toed hiking sandals. Over the years, the product selection has continued to grow and now includes Keen hiking boots, trail shoes, cycling shoes, socks, clothing and bags. The brand is also actively involved in land and water conservation projects in the US, Canada, Europe and Japan.
