Disappointed with these shoes

I ordered these shoes for the water resistant feature. I was planning to use them for regular walking when the weather is wet (I walk to work regularly).

The shoes looked nice. However, my heels slip badly. I returned these shoes.

I would add that my heels slip in most Keens tie lace shoes. I had ordered other tie lace Keen shoes (too many to list) that I returned due to the heel slippage issue.

I kept the voyageur and dakota shoes I ordered even if my heels slip in them because I wore them for a day. I just wear them for with the laces pulled tight and with midweight socks. I will not wear them for activities that would require extended walking.

I also have the portola. My heels do not slip in these. I noted that the sides and back of the portola come up a smidge higher, because the bottom is not as thick as the tie lace shoes.

If Keen's product development read these reviews, getting the sides and heels of the lace shoes just a smidge higher would solve some of the slippage problems, I think. The pull-on lace Keen shoes do feel like a smidge higher on the sides and heels- my heels do not slip in the Arroyo and the Ferndale shoes.
