Grand Canyon Rafting

Have Keen newport(1 extra strap). Waited til canyon trip to review. Terrific for climbing canyon rocks, on raft (some slippage on slick pontoons), on hikes up streams. By 4th night saw slight foot abraision & wore socks thereafter. I have hard to fit feet, hammer toes, etc but was very happy with shoes. Hard to put on - have to really push and pull. In soft sand, the sand clots heavily in toes and can't get out without removing shoes. Wore a cheap pair of acqua shoes in camp sites at night - better for soft sand. Note: these held together in the heat and water. Famous brand X that others had, fell apart - poor glue. At home use for water aerobics. Normally prefer brown, black or gray but found that the red is actually fun to wear.
  • Best Uses: Hiking, Steam walking, Travel, Water aerobics
  • Cons: Collects sand in toes, Hard to get on
  • Describe Yourself: Casual, Conservative
  • Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Cute, Durable, Stable
  • Sizing: Feels true to size
  • Width: Feels true to width
