I bought these shoes to replace my Merrells that I wear to work. I can say that I have always loved Merrells and Keens (and own both) but I usually stick with Merrells for the most part but when I saw these on the website for such a great price, I couldn't pass it up. Thankfully I didn't because the... Read More

First, unless you have a very narrow foot you're going to want to get a full size up (ie.10-11). The footbed and arch on this shoe is rather flat- about as flat as keen gets, but this is a good thing unless you have a really high arch and a narrow foot! It's certainly a low profile keen, with a minimal drop and heal, but I wouldn't want to go higher that's for sure- it seems good, and comfortable, just a bit narrow in the tow bed which will be sharply uncomfortable if not enough room. Otherwise this is a great design and product and very light weight durable and comfortable shoe and I have minimal varicose veins on my feed and they work but could be a bit wider at the toebox. You can find this to be helpful and Keen can use this information to improve their next shoe. The shoes Keen currently make are not nearly as comfortable as this which is an outdated model, and the only other comfortable Keen waterproof all-purpose shoe they have made in recent years is the Marshall but that is no longer on earth. Good luck.

Husband wears a size 12 in Keens and Chaco, but the size 12 in this shoe was too short.

Have had for a couple of months and this shoe is performing as the write up said it would. I have used it in snow, slush and rain and it is water proof and comfortable.

About Keen

Keen shoes have been helping feet find adventure since 2003, and it all began with the signature KEEN.PROTECT toe bumper. It might seem strange to build a footwear company around a feature, but that iconic toe bumper is more than just a style add-on. It’s what allows Keen sandals to hit the trails and provide the best toe protection possible. In fact, Keen was one of the first footwear companies to make closed-toed hiking sandals. Over the years, the product selection has continued to grow and now includes Keen hiking boots, trail shoes, cycling shoes, socks, clothing and bags. The brand is also actively involved in land and water conservation projects in the US, Canada, Europe and Japan.
