Not even close to Keen standards

I've had numerous Keen footwear items over the years and have always been really happy with both their fit and durability. These however meet neither of those historical expectations. The sole and midsole are so soft, you feel every stone underfoot and after one 9 mile hike on a crushed rock road/path, my feet were sore and the bottoms already look like I wore them for a season. They also do not have the traditional Keen roomy toe box fit. They are a fair bit narrower than every other Keen shoe I have in the same size. Overall...quite disappointed. I bought them for trail walking and light hiking. Best case, they might find themselves in the gym for workouts....otherwise they're going in the donation pile.
