Verified Buyer Reviewed by SFrunner from San Francisco on Friday, September 14, 2012My husband and I bought these for a backpacking trip through the desert. We knew, going into this purchase, that these were a bit heavier than we wanted, but the price was great and we were willing to carry a few extra ounces. All this being said, I was surprised at how bulky these bags were. The bags come with a stuff sack, but when stuffed, they barely squeezed into the bottom of our packs and took up way more room than anticipated. I ended up having to purchase two compression sacks to try and save some space. Do not be mistaken...these bags are almost a regular size sleeping bag when in the stuff sack...definitely not a pro for a backpacking trip. All this being said, the bags were roomier than most mummy bags, surprising warm, and the synthetic material was great for not retaining moisture.
- Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping
- Cons: a bit heavy, bulky
- Pros: Comfortable, price, Roomy
