Good Backpack but some design flaws
Reviewed by Stickman from San Diego, Ca on Friday, March 22, 2013
First, I have an 18" torso and figured the M/L would be a good fit...wrong. I returned it for a S/M instead after trying out that size at a local retailer, much better. The back is well made but it has a "U" shaped aluminum stay running right down the center of the pack and the very first time I bent over to tie my shoe it just dug into my spinal cord. There was just no adjustment to make it not contact my spinal cord. I removed the stay and the pack fit MUCH better. I would not try and carry much more than 30lbs in this bag as it will just sag down onto your butt but otherwise very comfortable bag. I will use it for 3-4 day backpack trips in the low desert.
