It is sturdy enough to keep bags from falling over and spilling contents, and it does help to keep things cold.

They are doing the job. They can hold more than I thought and not fall apart. The zippers on both sides and the velcro along the front, secure it when closed. I like the handles on both sides too. They look nice in my apt too, stacked in a corner. A good choice for the money.
