I bought these with the intent to use them under ski pants for that really cold day. That really cold day never happened. These may have been too think to fit under my ski pants. BUT I used these like pajama bottoms and wore them outside in minus 5 temperatures to walk the dog at 6 AM in the morning. I am very happy

I bought these to wear under my reachable waders in cold weather and cold water. The medium size fit is perfect for 34" waist and 6' 2" height.

I purchased a pair of these (in grey) for my husband and he loved them so much that I purchased a second pair in black. He's quite thin but tall, so the Medium/Tall fit him perfectly.

These, like other Polarskins I own, provides a generous rather loose fit. The Heavyweights are quite warm as a base layer and are generally well made with one exception. I haven't figured out whether it is due to poor design or poor construction but the fly tends to gap open rather than stay flat and closed. This is not a significant issue for me, specifically because I wear undershorts. But it is obvious enough that it compels me to detract one star.
Even so, I consider these well worth the money.

My husband loves these. They work when he rides his motorcycle as well as when it is cold in the house.

  • “Is the inseam 34" on all sizes?”
Asked by CM from Ontario on 12/8/2014 8:01:44 AM
    • I can only vouch for the large size which has an inseam of 34". For reference, I typically wear a 32" inseam but in the case of this item and their knit cuffs, I'm happy the inseam is a bit longer - had they been 32" I think they might have ridden up when kneeling or sitting. Also, the size runs a bit slim in the hips.

    • I ordered 2xl and they seem to be 36" inseam, as that is my inseam and they fit perfectly.

    • I'm not real experienced in this kind of thing but take inseam to mean from the meeting point of the seams at the crotch, measured down to the cuff bottom. This measured about 33 1/2" by my tape.

  • “What is the inseam of the XXL”
Asked by debbue from canada on 12/4/2014 8:59:55 AM
    • It seems to be 36", although it could be a 35? I normally wear 36 and these fit me perfectly.
