Great weight and feel. Steel holds its edge very well.

3rd one of this series that I have purchased - the only problem I have had with any of them was a small burr on one of the thumb studs, 2 swipes with a small file and all was well

Kershaw a respected knife maker and well known knife designer Ken Onion came together on this slightly recurved and partly serrated blade. Have also purchased on the Dark Side as I have this in Black, tanto point and partly serrated. Think gifts. A tool. Can you ever have enough of those. This makes the 4th Blur I have purchased. Size and heft for multitasking. Excellent slicing and piercing. The dark DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating is a plus for added corrosion and wear resistance. Non-reflective. SpeedSafe gives a smooth one-hand assisted opening. Pocket clip is reversible for tip up or tip down use. Lanyard hole for those who like a different carry. And the price?!? Quibble over a knife at this price and made in the USA? Over $100 MSRP. A deal maker, not a deal breaker.

I have three of these knives bought the first one in 2004 and use it every day . I am a contractor in the summers and a hunting guide in the winter. this knife works for everything grate all purpose knife.

This knife is not "bad," but it's not good either. My main issue is that the assisted opening doesn't really assist that much. It gives just barely enough push to help open the knife half way, and that's only after you open it 1/4 manually. It's going back.
