I wanted to like this jacket, but I don't have a sufficient capacity for lying to myself that I actually like it.

First, the pros: Very warm and protective in cold, snow and rain. It's so warm that I needed to remove the liner each time I've worn it. There was at least one day when the temperature was around 5 degrees Fahrenheit here in New York City, and I was perfectly comfortable. The liner itself keeps me very warm, and is as long as the outer shell.

Cons: Both too big and too small. The area in and around the chest is relatively small. The jacket tightens up the more I raise the zipper, right up to and including my neck. Wearing a scarf or bulky later would likely not work. I'm not a big guy, but I have an athletic build. I bought a large because that's the size I always buy for coats and jackets. Both the arms and the length of the jacket are too long. I can't imagine that I'd be able to fully zip up the jacket in a size medium.

The jacket has a nice look and keeps me incredibly warm -- without the liner. The arms and the jacket itself are to long for its size, and the design is not flexible enough for me to move around.
