• The insert is a pretty durable fabric that is woven fairy tight. The bed does get lumpy but that is easily fixed by picking it up and shaking it.

  • I'm not 100% what you're asking but I'll try to help: The exterior, removable cover of the dog bed is a denim/canvas material that appears to be very durable. The interior stuffing is additionally covered/contained in a thin material that is not durable in and of itself. However, I don't see why it would need to be if it is covered. So far the bed is not lumpy, but it has only been a few weeks for my dogs. If it does get a little lumpy I can just pick it up, shake it out and it goes back to its original shape.

  • The insert is not as durable as the outer cover and could probably tear through if used without the cover for long. The shape seems to be pretty durable and can be shaken out to remove lumps.
