I wear 61/2 in shoes, so I always size up in a boot.
I ordered 7 the fit big for me, so I add a wool liner, perfect!
I would order normal size if you are going to wear a regular sock, go up if you are adding a liner or thick sock.
I wore them when it was 29F outside the were warm, but I could fee... Read More

I haven't had a chance to test these out in the snow and mud, so I can't comment on whether they are easy to clean up.

This is my second pair. I love these boots! On super cold Minnesota days I can wear a thicker sock if needed. However, these boots are so warm I normally wear a regular sock and am fine. I am a 7.5-8, ordered the 38, fit perfect. I like having a little wiggle room to wear the extra thick so if needed. Very comfortable to walk in all day if you are an outdoor winter walker. Whenever I wear these or my other pair I have ladies commenting (cute boots, wear can I get those, love your boots) happens every time!

Really cute, just what I was looking for in sole and height.
Haven't worn them yet, but can't wait.

Warm, cozy and looks good with almost all outfits. Only gripe is that they are on the narrow side, but seemed to have stretched nicely.

Order Up (... at Least One Size!)

These are good winter boots, which was what I needed. I took other folks' suggestions and bought these Kodiak Elie Leather (read: suede) Snow Boots a size up. In regular shoes, I wear an 8. I bought a 9. With winter socks on, they feel like an 8 that teeters on feeling like a 7.5. I wouldn't call them narrow, but they're not roomy once you're in them. Just well-fitted. I do worry that once I start moving around in them I'll wish they were a 9.5. Also, they're not super tall, so I won't wear them in high snow. When will manufacturers simply make boots that fit like they should in the size you need them in? Oh, well. Good buy.

  • “If I wear a size 9 would the ten be to big? You dont have a 9 1/2”

    • I were a 7.5- 8 and the 8 fit's me perfectly, with a semi-thick sock's on. So if you are a 9, a 9 should fit you as long as your foot isn't wide.

    • Whole size might be too much unless you have a wide foot and are going to be wearing a heavier sock.

    • According to our fit team this item is running true to size. You should order your usual size. These do not come in 1/2 sizes, so we recommend that you order up only if you wear a 1/2 size.

About Kodiak

When Kodiak boots first hit the production lines in Ontario, Canada back in 1910, the company sought to create a new standard in hard-working footwear. By the early 1940s, the brand had become an official supplier to the Canadian Armed Forces. Twenty years later, Kodiak introduced steel toe boots. Today, after more than a century of producing extremely rugged and reliable Kodiak snow boots, work boots and outdoor footwear, this brand remains extremely committed to setting a high bar with innovations like shock-absorbing Comfortzone insoles, slip-resistant Ultimate SR outsoles and metal-free Rockfibre safety toes that meet or exceed CSA and ASTM standards. For work or winter (or both), Kodiak footwear always has you covered.
