I just received my Kodiak Rochelle Pac boots. I also ordered the Kodiak Renee Pac boot. I so appreciate others reviews especially regarding sizing that I feel compelled to write one. I am an average size 8 and ordered an 8. The fit is perfect, width and length. As I mentioned about the Kodiak R... Read More

  • Great snow boots
Reviewed by Amy from Ann Arbor on Thursday, March 15, 2018
Wasn't expecting these snow boots to perform as well as they have (considering how inexpensive they are). Bought these about three years ago after moving from California to Michigan, and these boots have performed very well against snowy and very cold weather. These are super toasty so I only wear them when it's below 0F and when it hits -20F, wool socks paired with these boots keep my feet warm (to be fair, I tend to run warm rather than cold). I haven't had any issues with leaking even when I step into inches of snow. The white/taupe upper has surprisingly stayed pretty clean even without me doing any upkeep or cleaning despite lots of slushy road conditions. Only downside to these boots are that they are only ankle height so when the snow piles higher than that, I have to wear my other taller snow boots that aren't as warm. Haven't had any issues with slipping on ice and didn't even have to be broken in. Heavier than my usual leather ankle boots but a lot lighter than other snow boots I've tried like Sorels and Timberlands.

true to size, no need to order up. I usually wear 5 but for snow boots just in case i ordered both 5 and 6, and 5 fits perfectly. Looks great too, see no problem wearing them hiking.
  • Toasty but cheap construction

I was super excited about these, they are light and warm, easy to put on. However, after only a handful of wears over less than a month, the fabric tore away from the lower portion of the boot and the lower portion began flaking. I've already returned them for a refund - and for that, STP was super friendly and quick on the response.

I have other Kodiak boots that were not as snug as these were, but they still fit good and look very nice

I bought these boots to stay toasty in the snow, but have tested them in the cold yet. They feel right for the size and I don't expect to have to wear a thick sock since they are very well insulated. The pair comes with an additional set of red laces that make the boots more cheerful.

About Kodiak

When Kodiak boots first hit the production lines in Ontario, Canada back in 1910, the company sought to create a new standard in hard-working footwear. By the early 1940s, the brand had become an official supplier to the Canadian Armed Forces. Twenty years later, Kodiak introduced steel toe boots. Today, after more than a century of producing extremely rugged and reliable Kodiak snow boots, work boots and outdoor footwear, this brand remains extremely committed to setting a high bar with innovations like shock-absorbing Comfortzone insoles, slip-resistant Ultimate SR outsoles and metal-free Rockfibre safety toes that meet or exceed CSA and ASTM standards. For work or winter (or both), Kodiak footwear always has you covered.
