4.0 out of 5 stars. Great basic trekking polesVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from South Carolina on Thursday, March 22, 2018I purchased these poles to use while training for a one-day, 28.3 mile hike. I've used them once, on an 11 mile hike. The poles have a nice weight. I'm not sure yet if I like the grips. Grips are such an individual thing that it must be hard to make something that works for everyone.
I think I would buy them again as an entry-level product. -
5.0 out of 5 stars. Great trekking poles.Verified Buyer Reviewed by Hiking In Idaho from Idaho on Saturday, March 17, 2018I bought these poles because they were easily adjustable and a great. price. I have found them to be very strong and they give me maximum support on uneven ground.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Look and feels very goodVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Seattle on Sunday, February 25, 2018Haven't had a chance to take them out for a spin, but they look well-endowed with good features and sturdy and more than I might have expected at such a good price.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Trekking PolesVerified Buyer Reviewed by JD from Maryland on Thursday, February 22, 2018Overall very nice, did the job and allowed me to hike faster and farther than I would have without them. The straps are a little awkward but once you get them figured out they work well.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Nice Basic PolesVerified Buyer Reviewed by Karate Rick from Black Mountain on Monday, January 1, 2018These are nice basic poles. They look cool and function as they should. These are a great buy if you're looking for a good, basic set of trekking poles.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Look good but haven't usedVerified Buyer Reviewed by Grandma Connie from Wisconsin on Thursday, December 14, 2017The poles are a Christmas gift so they have not been used yet. The black caps over the tips were extremely hard to remove. We had to use two sets of pliers to remove them .... usually don't carry pliers while hiking! Otherwise, they seem to be very well made.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice starter polesVerified Buyer Reviewed by Expeditionary Jonny from Nebraska on Saturday, October 14, 2017This is my first set of trekking poles and I am very pleased with their performance. I practiced with them on some local trails and noticed the difference immediately, and I had far more energy after I tried them on my normal trails. As a result, I upped my training and took them to the Rocky Mountain National Park. The poles were instrumental in helping me to deal with the high altitude and to reach the lookout out point I was shooting for. The only trick to these poles is getting used to the straps. Since the poles are not specifically designed for your left or right hand, you have to set up the straps differently on each hand to make sure they stay secure. If you do it right, the straps will take the load and will help you save your energy.
