Wonderful hiking poles
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Swim 2 eat from Northern California on Wednesday, July 12, 2017
Bought these before a 28 mile backpack trip. They worked great on up and downhill, in rocky trail and over logs. It was easy to extend and retract them depending on the grade or to pack them away.

  • Great basic trekking poles
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Bunji from South Carolina on Thursday, March 22, 2018
I purchased these poles to use while training for a one-day, 28.3 mile hike. I've used them once, on an 11 mile hike. The poles have a nice weight. I'm not sure yet if I like the grips. Grips are such an individual thing that it must be hard to make something that works for everyone.

I think I would buy them again as an entry-level product.

I bought these poles because they were easily adjustable and a great. price. I have found them to be very strong and they give me maximum support on uneven ground.

I only gave 4 stars because i don't know enough about them to give them a 5 star rating. They seem to be high quality.

I like being able to change baskets and the adjustment settings hold strong.

  • “Is there a weight limit of hiker on these?”
Asked by Wi hiker from Wisconsin on 3/20/2018 7:53:16 PM
    • Not sure but I'm 210 lbs and worked well for me.
Answered on 3/21/2018 6:48:40 AM by JD from Maryland
    • I have been unable to get a finite answer. My guess would be that there is no way to determine this. It is unlikely you are going to support full body weight, this is entirely dependent on the individual and their hiking style.

    • Checking several different sources and the only thing I found was that you will be safe at 250 pounds.

    • We apologize for the troubles, they should just snap off the other direction. It may be a defect if it does not come off. If you feel that the item is defective, please contact customer service via 24/7 online chat, by email: or by phone: 1-800-713-4534.
