should be part of the basic product

I bought the trekking poles after hip-replacement surgery: off the walker, not feeling like using a cane. They'll be helpful in general hiking but meantime I needed them around the house. The tungsten (Wolfram) tips on the poles will tear up anything domestic, and the plumbing washers I duct-taped on were a bit unstable; the hard-rubber tips that should have come with the poles in the first place were a good answere; too early to tell if they are durable.
  • Best Uses: City walking, Indoors
