first trecking poles

After 20 years of hiking and backpacking I decided I needed tracking poles. Especially since I was planning on a particularly strenuous trip. For the most part these worked quite well on the steep, rocky trails. I only used 1 pole during my hikes. They sure made creek crossings much easier and walking along steep trails safer. I do wish that I had spent the 20$ to get the latching system to adjust the height. I did buy the rubber tips to put on the bottom. This helped me have better grip on the rocks. Overall, these were quite sturdy and useful tracking poles. I'm glad I purchased them.
