Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Reviewed by Tony from Connecticut from Connecticut on Thursday, March 6, 2014After wearing out a couple of cheap hiking poles, I decided that I needed a pair of trekking poles that was stronger and easier to lock. After deciding on the features I wanted and researching warranties, I found the Komperdell Titanal poles. I have used them on a couple of hard hikes in the cold weather, and they have performed very well. The power (clip) locking mechanism is quite stable, and the locking mechanism is adjustable to compensate for different temperatures. They are quite light, and the grips are comfortable to hold. It seems to me that Sierra Trading Post, with its good deals, is the place to buy.
Reviewed by trecker from Seattle WA on Wednesday, February 19, 2014Ordering, shipping and receiving this product was an excellent experience. however the product design in the baskets is not good. They do not stay attached to the pole very well. They fall off unnoticed and are lost along the trail.
Reviewed by Bob the Hiker from North Carolina on Tuesday, November 26, 2013These poles make you sure-footed. The tips are made of some hard metal that does not slip on rock or ice. the poles are easy to adjust. The lower adjustment is set to one recommended position. The upper adjustment has markings for 105 cm, 110 cm, 115 cm, etc. The poles are strong; they hold up in steep climbs over rough terrain.
