Fantastic polesReviewed by Gtom61 from SF Bay Area on Saturday, August 25, 2018Just finished using them in the eastern Sierras for three days. Solid, well made, the height adjustments tighten nicely and stay secure. The tips are fantastic and very durable. Hard to beat for the price and quality.
Trekking PolesVerified Buyer Reviewed by JAR & AER from California on Wednesday, June 6, 2018The Komperdell Trekking Poles arrived, in good order. My husband and I have purchased Komperdell Trekking Poles, from Sierra Trading Post, for many years. They are excellent, an Sierra TP is a very dependable source. We have used the poles, all over the world. My husband uses one, on a daily bases, for balance, related to neuropathy.
Just wish Sierra would restock the rubber tip-covers!

Great SticksVerified Buyer Reviewed by chunky hiker from California on Monday, March 13, 2017I used the same model poles to hike 150 miles of PCT in Oregon, but I forgot them at the trailhead when I came off the trail. Whoever found them should be stoked, now I'm buying replacements.

“I am looking for poles for snowshoeing in the winter and trail running in summer, would these work?”
Yes, these can work for either season. You would probably want to purchase winter baskets for the snow however.
“Does Komperdell offer padded rubber tips for these poles?”
We do sell Komperdell Rubber Tips for Walking Poles, item #99611
You can find Komperdell brand ones here at Sierra, or anywhere...on eBay in bulk (which is how I buy them) or on Amazon. I get them in bulk b/c they do wear down.
