Verified Buyer Reviewed by Cruz from Ontario on Wednesday, February 25, 2015I am a musher and out in -40F windchills, sub zero temps, blizzards and for extended periods. These alone with snow pants are great down into the minus single digits, colder than that use two layers under your snow pants. I have worn these alone without snow pants in the teens F to run errands and sleep in, and can't say enough good about them. SO much nicer next to your skin than any wool, keeps you dry and warm, and I like the fit too. They seem to run fairly snug to their stated sizes, and are cut for hips and waist. I liked them so much I bought another set!
Reviewed by Ski Mom from Seattle on Tuesday, January 13, 2015Komperdell is great. I don't like wool...too itchy. Tried 3 other brands here some more expensive some less. These are the best. This is the second set I am purchasing from Sierra trading post. The last set lasted years! I thought I would write in case you were wondering which is the best base layer. Hope this helps. I am 5'3" 125 lbs and the Medium fits fine.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by spirit33 from Colorado Springs, CO on Sunday, December 28, 2014Really like these fleece leggings. Ordered size Small (5'4", 115 lbs) after reading reviews about them running small. The smalls are actually roomy through the legs and hips, so I ordered a second pair in Xsmall and they have the tighter fit I expected (better for wearing under another layer). I wear the bigger pair for lounging. Both pairs are super comfortable and cozy. My favorite pants to keep warm this winter. I will order a third pair if my size comes back in stock.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Nancy in VA from Northern Virginia on Sunday, December 21, 2014The warmest and most comfortable piece of Winter clothing that I have ever worn. In fact, after wearing these bottoms one day, I ordered 2 more. Can't say enough. I like especially how the back has a slight upward curve to give the kidney area a little more cover.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Donna of Chicago from Chicago on Friday, December 5, 2014I don't like my base layer too tight, so I ordered a large and it fits perfectly (I am 5'2" and 120). So it may run small. It is nice and warm and regular pants fit over it nicely. A good midweight liner.
I'm not an expedition person, but do walk for a solid 90 minutes in Chicago weather. I love them and will order another pair.
