Love the concept, boots are comfortable, but changing soles takes twenty minutes and need to remove boots. Hopefully in time it will get easier.

    • Sizing: Feels half size too small
    • Width: Feels true to width

I love my korckers w/ Klingon tread. I seem to get the best traction on varying terrain out of any boot I've used. Mud flats, slick rock, slippery banks, muskegs...no problem. I wear breathable waders with korckers, everyday for a month while moose hunting and then additional months while bird hunting and steelhead fishing. This pair is for my wife. The support and durability of a boot, with the light feel of a running shoe. I love them!
    • Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Stable
    • Sizing: Feels true to size
    • Width: Feels true to width

Have used the boots for 2 seasons and they are developing a hole in the upper next to the rubber toe guard. Disappointing in the durability of the product.
    • Cons: Wear Out Quickly
    • Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Good Cushioning, Stable
    • Sizing: Feels true to size
    • Width: Feels true to width

I bought these wading boots in Men's size 8 to be used by friends, along with a pair of Men's small-sized Redington Crosswater chest waders, on fishing trips. I've been teaching my friends how to fly fish, so having an affordable pair of waders for them has been great. In the past, I've just lent out my own backup set of wading gear, but as I stand over six feet tall, it hasn't worked for everyone. Having good gear contributes to a positive experience out on the water; I want my friends who I introduce to fishing to enjoy it and to ask about the next trip!
    • Best Uses: Used by guests, Wet Weather
    • Cons: Lacing could be improved
    • Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented
    • Pros: Affordable, Comfortable, Good gear, Stable
    • Sizing: Feels true to size
    • Width: Feels true to width

With Korkers you need one size above normal shoe size where-as others two sizes are needed to fit over your waders. The interchangable soles make it where you need only one pair of boots for all the different fishing conditions. Very comfortable to wear throughout a day on the stream standing in cold water. Top quality at a very good price. The only drawback is that Korkers keeps improving their boots which means getting replacement soles may be iffy and expensive.

About Korkers

Believe it or not, the first Korkers boots were cobbled together in a small basement workshop more than 50 years ago using scrap rubber, nylon cord and carbide spikes. Shortly thereafter, the now-famous "River Cleats" were born, and this highly functional wading sole system soon became a favorite among local fishermen. Over the years, Korkers wading boots have grown to include amazing innovations like OmniTrax V2 interchangeable sole technology. In addition to trusted performance on the river, Korkers winter boots also provide the same outstanding traction on snowy and icy terrain. When you need maximum grip on the slickest surfaces, this is the footwear brand for you.
