Assembly is pretty straight forward. Take some time to determine the best location for each instrument.Download or print manuals from CD or web site. They are very helpful but somewhat confusing. Because this device has so many options in providing information it takes some time and attention to learn the various combination of buttons to push. Downloading information to your computer requires a 9 pin male connection on your PC. I have enjoyed this product and doing business with this company. I will shop here again.

I've now tried two recently and they both have the same flaw, namely some days it is 1 minute off relative to NIST time (other days it is accurate). This is not a battery problem, but must be some kind of design one in which the radio-control electronics are not picking up or processing the signal correctly (an Oregon Scientific sitting right next to it is correct).

The second problem is a design one: seconds don't show in the default screen mode; rather, the Alarm 1 time does, even when the alarm is not set. What's the point?

I live in a cold-weather climate. It's nice to be able to view the temperature outside while staying warm inside.

This is one of the few outdoor temperature sensors that also measures outdoor humidity and yet costs under $20. Many units measure indoor humidity with the display unit but don't have a hygrometer built into the outdoor sensor. It is amazing to see the fluctuations in humidity as night falls. This unit does not measure indoor humidity (not a problem for me since I already had several hygrometers in the house.

Super easy to install and set up
