5.0 out of 5 stars. Never regretReviewed by Carolyn from Saint louis on Friday, September 27, 2019My husband bought me these shoes and now I'll be buying these all the time. They beat out nike, new balance and asics (in my opinion). They provide much support for your feet and are crazy comfortable. I don't even need my inserts. Got them on sale but worth full price!!!

2.0 out of 5 stars. Design & FitVerified Buyer Reviewed by Trail Trekker from California on Tuesday, September 24, 2019After reading many technical and consumer reviews, I had hoped these shoes would be amazing. My usual sizing wasn't a good fit -- too short, despite others indicating this ran true to size. The shoe cups into the back of your foot above the heel which may be designed for technical trail running but was uncomfortable. In addition, there is almost no flexion in this shoe. If your foot movement is articulated, progressing from heel to toe, the structure of this shoe is going to work against that.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Great for the $$Verified Buyer Reviewed by OllesMamma from Leavenworth, WA on Thursday, September 12, 2019First off, LOVE the color & thought they were comfortable right out of the box, then put thin-ish Smartwool socks on...
I have medium width foot, these are narrower than I originally thought, but get more comfortable with each wear. I'm keeping them, and hope with break-in time they will be perfect. Super aggressive soles, at least compared to my XR Missions. I am 7.5 to 8 and the 38.5 works well for me. -
4.0 out of 5 stars. Very happy in sand and mudReviewed by Bria from Indiana on Tuesday, August 13, 2019I've been using these for about a month and have been very happy. I primarily run in sand (both loose and packed) and mud, with a little gravel and pavement sprinkled in. The shoes perform well on all of these. Sufficiently grippy, light feel. I only wish they drained water better. I'm contemplating cutting some small slits in the upper as I'll have to wade through knee-deep water in them frequently.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Great Shoes, try to size up for WideVerified Buyer Reviewed by Ginger Hike from Appalachians on Friday, July 12, 2019Great shoes, felt good on and super grippy across the bottom. Easy to on and off. No field usage, though. Tried on in the office and unfortunately, I did have to return them because they were not wide enough for my feet in an 8 and were out of 8.5 in women's size. I will look for another pair when the stock is back up in a 1/2 size larger.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Love these.Verified Buyer Reviewed by Jenn G from San Francisco on Friday, June 28, 2019I was in need of a hybrid hiker/trail runner for backpacking trips. I researched and read reviews for at least a month... then found these on Sierra and immediately knew that's what I was searching for. Soles are grippy but not too much rubber like approach shoes, good toe coverage, and a great color!

2.0 out of 5 stars. Not for Sensitive AchillesReviewed by Anonymous from Virginia on Monday, June 24, 2019I injured my achilles tendon over a decade ago, but the wrong shoe can still irritate the injury, which is much more than a nuisance. At times the recurrence has been severe enough to cancel trips as essentially I become crippled and unable to place weight on my foot without pain. I really wanted to like these shoes but after several day hikes and short trail runs, wearing around town, and a couple of overnight backpacking trips, I have come to the conclusion that this is money down the drain for me. If you don't have a sensitive ankle or heel, you may like these sturdy shoes which do seem to otherwise be well made.
