They are lightweight, have great traction and seem to be well made. So far I love them. I run mostly on rocky, desert trails and these are comfortable and predictable. I prefer low profile shoes because of the uneven t... Read More

Lightweight Trail ShoeVerified Buyer Reviewed by Robin from Texas on Monday, February 19, 2018Runs small in length. Roomy toe box. Great for less rugged trails. Very lightweight mid sole. Good traction.
Way too small to judgeVerified Buyer Reviewed by MarkNorCalHiker from California on Monday, January 8, 2018I love La Sportiva shoes, but these fit at least two sizes smaller than all my other pairs from them. They looked well made, but it's crazy to think there's such a difference that I couldn't even get my foot into these shoes. Beware of sizing!
La Sportiva Bushido Trail Running shoes, menVerified Buyer Reviewed by Smee from Wisconsin on Saturday, January 6, 2018I am female and sometimes purchase men's shoes due to the fact that I wear a women's 10. I tried this style in one of the STP retail stores after I had seen them online. Glad I did because they run a bit small. I was able to wear a 42 in men's. I bought that pair in another color and was hoping that I could find another to alternate between. I was most happy to see the "flame" color come available and ordered the same size, 42. They are comfortable right out of the box. I have been using them in a gym setting which provides good grip on the hard surface during workouts. Have not tried them outside as yet. I have a somewhat narrow foot which these accommodate well. I recommend this shoe.
Favorite HikerVerified Buyer Reviewed by Scott from Denver on Thursday, January 4, 2018If the shoe fits, this could be your favorite trail runner/hard pack hiker. Fits similar to a climbing shoe--almost like it was painted on your foot. Best for narrow width feet and ran a full size small on me. Sole doesn't hold up as well as others but has great grip--a bit of a trade-off. Great ventilation. Very thin tongue, so don't look to it for top padding from the laces. I've not had a problem with comfort, though, due to the type of laces (tie flat) that came with the shoe.
Love theseVerified Buyer Reviewed by NiTeMaRe from Upstate New York on Tuesday, October 31, 2017I bought these for fast and light days on rocky terrain in the Adirondacks. Love the rock guards and grip. Haven't used them in mud but that's not what they are made for. If I can get them again, I would order just one Euro size larger than my normal size. I went up two and these are just a little bit bigger than what I needed.
Good shoe, Bad sizingVerified Buyer Reviewed by Hulihuli from Calfornia on Friday, October 13, 2017These are excelllent, well-made shoes, but they run REALLY small. I wear a 12, so I ordered a 12.5. Alas, a 13.5 would have been closer to what I needed. If you have small-to-medium feet, I'm sure you'd enjoy them.
Great shoe, tight fitVerified Buyer Reviewed by DurangoDave from Durango on Thursday, September 21, 2017Love the shoe for trail running and hiking trails. Great heelbox design, so my heel is stable in shoe. Noticing the shoe is a bit tight, so seems like it runs a tad small.

“I have worn New Balance running shoes for years. I like the toe box and stability, but their product has changed and Id like to try a new shoe.
I am a women who has Worn a 10 M in New Balance.
Would a 43.5 eur. Fit me in your running shoe? ”
If you are coming from NB, you will hate this shoe.
This shoe is VERY narrow.
“Do these shoes fit like the Sportiva Raptors? That's what my boyfriend has now and loves. ”
Sorry I have no Idea. I have a traditional hiking boot from them that fit true to size, but this is a running shoe. I would read review everywhere and or call manufacturer.
I don't know but I do know that STP has nearly painless return and exchange policy :-)
“I need the equivalent US size of this shoes for mens”
Hi - I wear a 9.5 US in everything and the 43.5 EU Bushidos fit perfectly
If you have wide feet, go a whole size bigger (i.e. I am usually a 43.5 but have wide feet so I got 44.5s and they fit great).
I ordered a 44, which is a US 10.5. It was a gamble because I usually wear a 10 (Nike/Asics), but the 44 is a perfect fit. Apologies for the delay in responding--away from home.
If you hover your mouse over or click on the sizes the corresponding numeric size will be displayed.
“What size should I take if heel-toe distance is 27,5cm?”
10 - 10.5
I don't know. These run a bit small. My son has a wider foot at end and the size 11 fits him perfectly. He usually wears a size 10 to 10.5. I think he has ample room in these and they are vey comfortable. I can try to measure his foot later and send that information to you. You could always order two sizes to see which is best. STP has a great return policy although I am unsure of details and cost outside of the U.S.
Have a great day!
According to La Sportiva 27.5 cm is approximately a US men's 10.5.
My foot also measures 27.5cm heel-toe. I ordered 44.5 LaSportiva Bushido and found it to be a good, snug fit. Depending on your foot width, you might try the 45 just to be sure.
I wear a 9.5 in Nike, Adidas etc.I ordered the 43.5 and they fit perfectly, They are meant to fit snugly but work really well when bouldering and rock hopping. Great traction. You will feel like a mountain goat
“Which size match with the 260mm?”
260mm is equivalent to size 41. US men's 8.5
“Does the La Sportiva Bushido drain well for obstacle course racing/”
These do not really have an integrated drain system.
“I wear size 11 medium in salomon mens shoe (perfect fit) what size shoe should I get for the la sportiva bushido?
According to our fit models this item is running true to size. If you hover your mouse over or click on the sizes the corresponding US numeric size will be displayed.
I also wear size 11 Salomon shoes and I got a great fit with size 44.5 La Sportiva Bushido.
