Great boot, light and stiffReviewed by Randy Oakley from Washington on Saturday, January 20, 2018The way this boot tours is amazing , the ankle rotation is amazing. It's surprisingly stiff on the descent for such light boot. Stiffer that Scarpa Aliens by a decent amount. That said this is not the boot to drive a big ski, 90mm waist at the max.
Last is kinda narrow, so people with duck feet will not like them. Also the way the shell is shaped, I got a lot of ankle bone pressure than needed to be punched out.
I have about 30 days on my pair. No durability or failure issues,so far.
Wanted to like this but...,,Verified Buyer Reviewed by James from Missoula on Tuesday, November 14, 2017Ordered a pair for my wife and I. Was too narrow for my wife’s feet. We were both concerned about the top cord instead of a buckle. Looks like it would be a serious problem to mess with gloved or cold hands. Don’t think the weight savings are worth it. I should have looked at it closer! Had to send both pairs back and I ordered the 2 buckle Spitfire instead. Also, there is a funky Velcro & zipper thing going on with this boot & liner that was difficult to handle just in the living room, wouldn’t want to deal with it on the side of a mountain
