Tri-Ply that works with GE inductionVerified Buyer Reviewed by Joe Cilluffo from Michigan on Monday, February 5, 2018This set can only be called High-End cookware in both appearance and performance. Sierra sold it to us far below the asking price $500 here in Metro Detroit. Yes it is made in China; however, you may not know that they are manufactured in a facility that All-Clad established prior to their Tri-Ply patent expiration. We have been looking for cookware that works with our GE Café induction Cooktop. We tried Aluminum pans with a magnetic stainless plate bonded to the bottom. They do work, but only marginally. The Lagostina Martellata Tri-Ply works on our GE cooktop no matter what the combination of pot size to burner size / wattage. Example: the 8 inch frying pan works on the 11 inch / 3600 watt burner without issue and the 6qt. stock pot will the work on any burner as well. We timed boiling two cups of water in the 3qt. sauce pan using the 7 inch /2500 watt burner and had a "violent" boil (not just small bubbles forming on the bottom of the pan) in less than 90 seconds. Keep an eye on them because they don’t need much power or time to get hot. This combination cooks very fast and is easy to clean if don't scorch your cooking oil using a above 2/3 setting and try to sorting through last month's E-mail.
