In my normal size the coat engulfed me. The effect comes from generous cut and the shoulder vents (which is a plus if you want to use it for upland game shooting). Nonetheless, I had to return it because it is unavailable is the size smaller (46). It is a shame.

I bought 3 jackets of the same style in grey, dark olive and charcoal/tan. Only description in the last one says "•Faux-suede buttonholes and elbow patches", while this is faux-suede in all of them. The sizing is really wrong and not in batches but it seems from one jacket to another. Normally I wear 44L, so I bought last one in 44L, grey and dark olive in 42L and grey one is about size biger than olive - 1 inch wider in shoulders. Only the dark olive fits (in 42L) but sleeves are ~1/2 inch longer. Otherwise the jackets are really good, I would prefer real suede patches though, as polyester makes the whole look somewhat cheaper but the price compensates. So I'm changing 42L to 40L in the grey, do not know what I'll get...
    • Cons: Sizing is very bad, Suede patches are faux

About Lambourne

Situated in Ipswich, Suffolk in the British Isles, Lambourne clothing is distinctively English. Taking their cues from the original hacking jacket, Lambourne sport coats are expertly tailored from natty tweeds embellished with details like suede elbow patches, action backs and ticket pockets. Lambourne is also well known for its premium moleskin and corduroy pants, made from thick, densely woven fabrics that hold their own on the hunt, but also look respectable in town. Women like to shop for Lambourne clothing as well, when they’re in the market for tartan plaid coats or long cashmere skirts that exude a country-estate air.
