Verified Buyer Reviewed by AJ from Creek side on Tuesday, February 28, 2017Wish there had been real fleece. Time will tell how the fake holds up.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by BigJer from Directly over the center of the earth! on Tuesday, January 17, 2017All the ladies on the block wear these affordable, comfortable, stylish, well constructed, affordable, and suitable lammy toes.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by casual teacher from South Carolina on Tuesday, December 27, 2016I love LAMO booties because they have actual sheepskin lining and not the fake stuff. This is my 3rd pair although these are styled a little differently than the others. I wear a 7.5 in street shoes and an 8 in running shoes. The description says to go up 1/2 a size, but I find that a 7 fits me best. They are tight at first, but they do stretch. I hope they continue to make these and STP continues to carry them at their great price.
Reviewed by michiganma from west michigan on Friday, December 23, 2016I first reviewed this slipper after having it for a week or so. Now after a couple of months, the sole on one came apart and I almost fell down the stairs,
At the heels inside the lining, they are worn through to what is left of the sole.
So, I am revising my review....comfy for a couple of weeks, but really poor quality. Will never buy this brand again,
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Marcia from California on Thursday, December 15, 2016I liked the look & feel of these slippers. They are very cozy against your feet & the size was true. But the very thin & flexible sole gives no foot support when you're walking. I thought they were very uncomfortable to walk in. I returned them. Note that when you make a return to Sierra Trading Post you lose your shipping cost & you are charged a restocking fee, so out of my original 27.64 purchase cost I was refunded only 14.64... slightly over half of my original charges. Order with care.

“The description calls the lining "genuine sheepskin fleece" but the specs say "faux fur". Which is it?”
These are faux fur. We apologize for the confusion. We will have this corrected.
Just bought them and is genuine sheepskin. Actually really nice slippers for the price, fit is nice also, true to size.
Hi mine are real sheepskin fleece...dark brown color
Hello once more...I answered the question before about sheepskin and now I am not so sure they truly are...sorry.
Last night I looked for a tag but there are none...so looked very closely and I think it is synthetic wool....it looks and feels like the real thing, but if STP says it is faux, it must be.
Anyhow they are soft as can be, the rubber sole is thin, unlike other slippers I've had...but works just fine to get the mail, sweep the deck, etc.
Again, I am sorry-no intention to "deceive"
Good question! I don't usually question STP's descriptions as I trust this company to be honest. I have other LAMO slippers which are genuine shearling lined. But this time, STP failed. I had bought 2 pair of these based on their description. They are indeed very comfortable and warm, but I doubt the lining is real shearling. Nowhere is there a tag that indicates real sheepskin or shearling - not on the box, not in the slippers, not on the sole. Because returning to STP is so expensive, I will keep them.
Call stp- I am sure in this case, you would not have to pay for return shipping...but they can answer that. At least try a phone call-they have the best customer service in the industry. If the mistake was theirs, from my experience., you can get a prepaid label e-mailed or sent to you
