How does anyone get their foot thru the top of the boot? Once you do get your foot into the boot, all is well and comfy...but the top of boot is so narrow...how can a Man with a wide ankle get into these? I am a woman, and I nearly cut the backs of the boot so I could get them on..Return would have cost me half of what I paid for these nice looking , but very deformed boots...perhaps if they were wider at the opening..But that's why they are on sale so cheaply...they are defects and not returnable for a full refund...last time with this company.

It is faux. Having said that, they are really plush, warm and lovely. The mid-calf upper is nice and they seem well contructed. The sole is pretty thick and has a hefty tread. At first they seemed clunky and stiff, but that diminished with a couple hours of walking around and now they seem just fine. They are great for walking in snow as the sole is very grippy with an aggressive tread pattern. I got the camo top version for my husband and he loves the ease of pulling them on and off, no socks necessary. Super warm and cozy....they might be just the thing for ice fishing!

It has nice soft faux fur lining, and durable suede. However, somehow my foot was pushed forward, leaving a gap in the hill, and pushing my toes into the toebox. The heel of the boot is rather stiff. I'm returning these, a pity.
