The Good: They are warm, they aren't as bulky as some of the other brands--I like that they are snug on the calf and don't bulk out too much around the ankle--and Sierra Trading Post makes returns a breeze. Mostly I like that they are warm.

The Not-So-Good: On my first pair the seam began to unravel after a month. I was just sent a pair as an exchange and the outsole is different than pictured and different than my original pair--it is very stiff and less comfortable than the boots I am sending back. These boots actually feel more cheaply made than the first pair I had, which began to fall apart pretty quickly. I am going to give these a chance because they keep my feet warm, but I don't think they are very well made. However, I really don't like the other brands I have tried, including Uggs which have also become ridiculously expensive. Once upon a time Simple made a shearling boot and it was wonderful--slim, sturdy, and affordable. I am not so happy with these, but the best fit I have been able to find.
