The design is unique and that was the reason I bought these bindings. The feel is great and they are responsive. Their performance is not the issue. The only two downfalls I experienced is that the binding strap teeth are plastic, while the ratcheting mechanism is metal and metal will always win. My plastic teeth of the straps ripped off when I was attempting to over tighten my bindings. Lastly, because of the bear trap mechanism, the placement of the stomp pad must be either close to the front foot or on the opposite side of the none dominant binding near the end of the board. Without these two issues, I love these bindings.
