Exceeded expectations

Having read previous reviews I got the impression that these boots were quite flimsy. I was wrong. I've had boots of heavier duty rubber but these are certainly adequate for most purposes. The hang tag literature says "...handcrafted in France..." but they're not according to an internal tag that says "Made in Morocco." As in all my rubber boots I've inserted insoles and that reduces/eliminates much of the problem associated with the flexible sole. They are lined with a plaid material and they have less than an "ankle fit" so they're reasonably easy to don/doff. I was expecting a bit less but am pleased with this purchase at the price I paid.
