One of the best reels I've ever used. Definitely worth the money. Lews is a very good company!

  • Lew's Pro Speed Spin TLP4000
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Vincent from Michigan on Friday, February 2, 2018
I was actually looking to downsize my spinning reels. All are currently 4000 Series Shimanos, so I was looking at switching to 3000 Series reels, and I've heard good things about Lew's. Due to the GREAT price, I took a chance on the TLP4000. Boy, was I glad that I did. It is slightly smaller (physically) than my Shimanos, but almost 5 ounces lighter. What a difference! I haven't had a chance to try it out yet, but it sure feels good, and smooth, too. So good, that I ordered a second one. I tried a new BB1SHZ Baitcaster this summer, and was equally impressed. Looks like I will be switching all of my reels over to Lew's (and I swore that I would never give up my Shimanos). I just wish that I could afford to do it all at once.
