Very light and should be more durable in the long run IMHO

I had been using the plastic version of this in my lunch bag for a couple of years now and eventually the plastic one just breaks over time from fatigue (constantly getting bent since it presses against some hard plastic containers). To my surprise, the titanium can be bent into position! :o I expected it to snap back, but it must be a lesser grade than one they use on bicycle frames, LOL. The middle section was sand blasted/etched to give a better grip. The cutting edge is very bunt so I am sure it wouldn't cut meats that well. I don't eat meat any more so I don't use that feature. ;-) The plastic ones are much sharper for cutting, but I always filed them down to be more blunt. This should last me a lifetime IMHO. :D
