4.0 out of 5 stars. Awesome jacket, but...Verified Buyer Reviewed by Dana from Minnesota on Thursday, June 11, 2015I have been looking for a jacket just like that one and I found it! BUT, the sizes run small, I had ordered a large and it was tight. It just looked stupid, so I returned it. Bummer, now I am out two shipping charges and no coat. Won't be doing that again.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Perfect for windy, wet dog and beach walkingReviewed by Indy hiker from eastern Pennsylvania on Tuesday, March 25, 2014The jacket is warm, completely windproof, and surprisingly water resistant. Have been wearing it in "wintry/mix-cold rain" type weather, including downpours. It stayed warm and the lining did not get soggy. It feels warm till about 40 F. I would not rely on it for staying dry for an extended outdoor hike, but for 20 or 30 minutes it does the trick. Pretty styling and hood that snugs tight and stays up. There is an empire-waist elastic seam that snugs the jacket just below the arms and makes it quite snug-fitting--not conducive to layers, and not ideal for those, like me, with waists on the thick side. It does make for a slim profile and would be very flattering to those with slimmer waists.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great jacket!Reviewed by Anonymous from Munich/Germany on Wednesday, October 16, 2013I ordered this jacket just as an spare jacket to pack into my backpack when hiking in fall and it would get cold. But it feels so good and soft that I`m wearing it daily now, including hiking. I love the faux fur coziness, especially in the hood when sitting on top of a mountain and having the wind blowing around my face. the hood, although it is not adjustable, feels perfect and does not blow back in the wind. The jacket also keeps rain well off, but I have not yet worn it in long heavy rain, so I do not know how the water repellent fabric reacts vesus a waterproff fabric. I find it also find my colour practical since one cannot see dirt spots easily, and they can get brushed off easily again when dry. The extra long hem in the back is not quite long enough to provide real extra warmth in the back, but it does not matter, it is a cute addition, though. I have never owned a fuzzy jacket before and I am in love with this one.

2.0 out of 5 stars. Too tight in the shouldersVerified Buyer Reviewed by SEWatHome from Kansas City, MO on Friday, January 18, 2013Overall, the product ran small but was particularly tight in the shoulders. I thought the material and styling were wonderful so was disappointed about the fit. Don't hesitate to try it yourself; it may have just not worked for me.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great jacket!Reviewed by Kitresq from Northern NJ on Saturday, January 5, 2013Just what I was looking for- an attractive, warm, lightweight jacket with a super soft plush interior and hood. It has a slightly longer shirttail hem in the back that I think adds to the stylishness and warmth. The subtle plaid pattern and slight sheen dresses it up compared to a plain color. I bought two colors intending to return one, but they were so nice I decided to keep both.

2.0 out of 5 stars. Nice Jacket Except for the Hem.Verified Buyer Reviewed by Casey from New Carlisle, IN on Tuesday, December 18, 2012I have a hard time finding jackets/coats that fit my large chest and broad shoulders well, so it's not the jacket's fault, but it did feel a little small for the size. It's a really pretty jacket. It's soft, lightweight, and easily packable. The biggest problem for me, aside from not fitting, was what is described in the overview as "long rear hem for additional coverage". Since the only view you get of the jacket is front-facing, you don't get the view from the back, or more importantly, the side. It looks like an absurdly large/wide duck tail that doesn't do much for coverage really. I thought it was totally unflattering, unnecessary, and an afterthought, really (Hey, look, we have extra fabric!).

5.0 out of 5 stars. Even better than expected!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Skidpan from Plymouth, MN on Thursday, September 22, 2011Hood fits over hat, nice and warm. Sleeves prevent wind from entering. I think I'll be able to layer a light sweater underneath, and continue using this jacket through much of our severe winters.
- Best Uses: Dressycasual occasions, Running errands, Walking my dog
- Pros: casual elegance, Lining and hood so soft, Perfect for MN autumns, Pockets are good size
