Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from oregon on Thursday, May 18, 2017Very comfortable to use and very strong cutting edges. I bought this because a guide I recently fished with has one and he could clip 50 lbs leader with ease.
Reviewed by Kingfisher from Virginia on Friday, May 12, 2017These nippers are very heavy (weight wise). I used them for the first time fishing a trout stream in Virginia. I had a difficult time using the eye clearing needle on small flies and the blade does not seem smooth or even enough for cutting fine tippet. I think they will be great for my saltwater and Alaska fly fishing trips where 10lb tippet is on the light end and flys are large with big hook eyes.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Benny from pa on Wednesday, February 8, 2017really not happy with they way they cut fine tippet ,heavy ,but if you need another bottle opener have at it
Verified Buyer Reviewed by m from Indiana on Monday, January 30, 2017This tool does a great job of cutting all the fishing lines I use for freshwater fishing. I have one in the boat and one on my vest.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Gary fly fisher from Michigan on Saturday, August 27, 2016Wanted a set of nippers for fly fishing. This was great value and perform well. Similar nippers with replaceable blades are 2x or 3x the price of these. Highly recommended
