About Louis Garneau

Born and raised in Canada, Louis Garneau’s passion for cycling began at a young age and eventually led him to start a racing career. After achieving more than 150 victories, including the Canadian Championship, Garneau decided to take his love of cycling to the next level and launched his own company in 1983. After starting out in his father’s garage, the Louis Garneau cycling apparel company eventually grew into a 32,000 square foot building with 118 employees in just five years.
