This is a great bat for the price - price checked and couldn't come close to beating the price. This is for a youth league and is still legal in our league.

About Louisville Slugger

The history of Louisville Slugger bats dates back 120 years, when the son of a Kentucky woodshop owner named John “Bud” Hillerich witnessed a player for the Louisville Eclipse break a bat during a game. Afterword, Bud invited the player back to the shop to make a new one. Pretty soon, other pro ball players started asking for bats. By 1923, Louisville Slugger baseball bats were the most popular bats in the country. Since then, the brand has expanded to include Louisville Slugger gloves, bags and gear. Step up to the plate with a Louisville Slugger bat, and you’ll be hitting with an American icon.
