This bowl is at least an inch more shallow and has plenty of room for my 70# boxer's kibble. This is a solid, well made bowl and it is heavy enough that it will not move if used on the floor (I use a carpet remnant to protect my flooring). I do need to router the wooden feeder to make a perfect fit. I am very happy with this bowl.

Bought it for an older catVerified Buyer Reviewed by spot from central MN on Sunday, February 4, 2018Only complaint is that it came without one of the red rubber feet, to much hassle to send it back due to the reasonable price, just stuck a pencil eraser on it and called it good.
