I live in Colorado and I can't imagine another winter boot being better for me. They are flexible and light-ish but stand up against the elements well.

These boots are very comfortable and are great for walking. I find my feet get cold below -10 celcius though. Also, after a month of light use one of the grommets for the laces came off the boot. I would choose a different boot if I had the chance to.

These boats are well made and fit really well. I wear a 9.5 and usually need to size up to a 10 but the 9.5 fits perfect. I bought them to wear at the barn especially for outdoor chores when it's cold and wet. I haven't worn them yet but have no doubt they will be awesome and Gore-Tex should keep my feet dry. I rated them a 4 only because I haven't worn them yet and can't say if they kept my feet warm. I only wish they were a different color but for the price I can live with the white.

I spent my first day wearing these boots 13 hours and was very suprised. Very comfortable and lightweight, felt very close to wearing sneakers. Easy lace up and just too cute :)

I was so excited to get my boots and once i took them out of the box the first thing i did was show them to someone and they said "hein looks like somebody already wore them!!!". I was so disappointed so i took a closer look and found that one boot, the suede was scuffed and had a black line on the toe and the other, the sole on the outside of the boot was partly discolored. Aren't they supposed to be new???? Plus being as i'm in Canada if i want to return them i have to pay for the shipping back!!! I paid for the shipping and customs to get them here in the first place!!! When i spoke to them about it there was nothing they could do...i have to pay the shipping and i would be credited the boots only!!! The shipping will cost more than what i paid for the boots in the first place!!! Their moto : "As always, we will do whatever we can to live up to our promise of 100% satisfaction guaranteed" well i can tell you im not satisfied right now at all!!!

After buying, returning, and waiting for my size to be in stock, I finally got a pair that fits! Please note that these run VERY large, compared to the marked size. I always wear a women's size 9, and I needed to exchange for a 7.5. When I got the 7.5, it was marked European size 39 (typically a US 8-8.5), so I think the conversion may be off. Beyond the sizing issues, these are warm, have good tread and are not bulky. I will be using these to commute in the city, on icy, probably unplowed sidewalks. I'm almost looking forward to using them once the snow flies.

I purchased these Lowa's to replace another pair of Lowa winter boots I had worn and loved for several years. I think they'll be great. My favorite aspect of this brand is the structured footbed which is comfortable for serious walking and provides great stability. They are clearly made for serious winter weather and yet do not make me look like Bigfoot.
