  • They are not as narrow as La Sportiva, but definitely narrower than Scarpa, Asolo, Garmont and others. Lowa Hiking boots are a tad wider than these mountaineering boots too. I believe it is the rigidity of the sole that makes it tight in the mid boot where any other boot would expand on a bend… these don't bend. I believe (my experience) these are not necessarily narrow across throughout, but narrow from the arch to the base of the toes. Plenty of toe and heel room (again from my experience) and I think most people who normally get a medium with may want to upgrade to a wide.
