Great All-purpose Mountain boot

The quality and detail of these boots is very good. I use them for snow shoeing in the winter and general mixed mountaineering including a little "Old Man" ice once in a while.
The fit is good if you go up a half size from your normal.
In my opinion, these boots fit right where you would expect them to based on their weight. They are less stiff and capable on tough pitches than a heavier boot and a lot more comfortable for general hiking purposes. The traction is good and they take crampons without a toe bail, again what you would expect for a mid-weight general mountaineering boot.
I find them warm down to about 10 degrees F.
They are my favorite hiking/mountaineering boots and I find myself using them on both easier and harder travels than I would expect.
