“How does the lacing work? Could i slip these on and off without having to adjust it?”

  • Hi, The lacing is some sort of very thin, but durable cord. It goes through tiny holes, so if it breaks, which I don't think it will, I don't think normal shoe laces would fit through. There is a sort of quick release mechanism at the end which I cinch down when I put them on. You uncinch and the shoes slip off very easily. The mechanism just slides down when putting them on and you squeeze it and it slides up to take the shoes off. So they aren't true slip on/slip off shoes. But it is super fast and after the first couple of times, muscle memory takes over and you don't have to think about it. Hope that helps! They fit well and we had a big (for southern Oregon) snow storm a couple of weeks ago and my feet stayed dry in the snow.

  • I like having my shoes fit snug so I adjust them each time. It is very easy to adjust them. You don’t have to worry about your shoe laces coming undone. If you like wearing your shoes very loose you would not have to adjust them. Recently I tried to order the black shoes again to have an extra pair but they no longer have my size. I love these shoes.
