Reviewed by Ron from Northern virginia on Friday, December 27, 2013Have previously bought two lowa jannu lo made in Italy hiking shoes and love them but long out of production. The pinto lo are different, more dressy in appearance, but every bit as good on a rocky trail and the Italian craftsmanship is outstanding. And with ST's email discounts they cost less than resoling the jannu Los, which I have done. Sizing is pretty much spot on. They are comfortable with good arch support inserts.
Reviewed by Les from NY on Saturday, December 7, 2013These boots run true to size, unlike some other Lowa items, and are great right from the start. There is also a roomy toe box and room for a better foot insert.
Reviewed by Kiwi in Seattle from Seattle on Tuesday, November 5, 2013Only worn these around town a couple of times but very comfortable right out of the box. Nice leather uppers and glove leather lined.
Note on sizing:
I wear a US 10 / EUR 44 / 28CM so I ordered the 10 and 10.5. I settled on the size 10 and the label reads as follows - US 10 / UK 9 / EUR 43.5 / 278MM
Each 1/2 size translates to 5mm in length so the US10.5 was 283mm
Hope this helps you figure out what size to order.
