Nicely made boots, large fitReviewed by Renee from Massachsuetts on Friday, April 21, 2017The waterproofing in my older pair of Lowa gave out; loved the boots and will still wear them for dry hiking so looking for something light, waterproof for spring/summer/early fall hiking. These look to be make well (like the metal grommets) and sit higher/above ankle (I prefer a bit lower) than I like and too stiff for me. The toe box very roomy; too roomy for my foot. They are also heavier than I like for short day hikes. I ended up going with the La Sportiva Core High hiking boots (much more flexible, lighter, and better fit)

These fit great, give me plenty of support, a generous toe bed and look good.

Lots of room in the toe box. I'm a 7.5 and they fit with plenty of room for a thick sock. Not stiff at all, good support and I look forward to many hikes in these boots!
