Not durable at all

I did a lot of research into a quality boot that would be lightweight while still offering ankle support. I landed on the Zephyr after all of that. I read countless reviews and finally pulled the trigger. So, imagine my surprise when I'm doing Mt. Cammerer in Tennessee and the side of the boot rips and comes apart, on MY FIRST HIKE! I am thoroughly unimpressed with Lowa after this, and will not be buying from them again. In addition, the included insoles are terrible, and the boots are VERY slippery. I was only at ~ 6000 feet in TN, can't imagine CO! Sending the boots back, and I would recommend avoiding them.
