I owned this backpack before and I loved it! It's a great size and I'm obsessed with the attached raincover, so convenient! I would recommend this backpack to anyone needing a comfortable, lightweight daypack.

I bought this for my boyfriend, who is 6'3 and athletic. The XL fits him perfectly. I got this pack for him as a crag pack - it's perfect to fit a rope and some climbing gear. There are gear loops on the outside, and a pouch for a hydration system. There is a built in rainfly in the bottom of the pack.

Great daypack that has the capacity to go on longer two to three day hikes. Really comfortable and breathable, as advertised. For how light-weight it is, it is surprisingly sturdy and sits well on the hips and shoulders. I love the hydration system compatibility and included rain fly. I've only used this for day hikes and travel so far but I'm looking forward to using it as a lightweight extended-day backpack. No real complaints here.

I bought this pack to replace my Platypus Thunderhead. The Thunderhead was good but lacked a comfortable waistband. I use the 3L Platypus bladder in the Airzone. I carry a heavy camera and zoom lens in a chest pack and needed a pack to more comfortably distribute the weight. The Airzone fit the bill. It is large and could get heavy if filled. I would also like to see more pockets inside and out. It is comfortable and I am pleased with my purchase.

    • Cons: Not Enough Pockets

I was looking for a backpack for bike commuting with a bigger capacity than my trusted Deuter Race X Air II. This Lowe pack has a similar design and what sold me was the suspended system for the back that greatly increases ventilation. I was used to it from the Deuter and Lowe's system is virtually identical and works just as good.

Capacity is great and I can fit a set of clothes, my notebook and lunch in there with room to spare. The back is fairly long and the straps and belt definitely favor taller people like me (6'4"). The built in rain cover is very nice and practical. Saves me from having to carry a trash bag.

There is room for a hydration system that I am using it with a 2l bladder but there would be room for a bigger reservoir too. A minot complaint would be that the inside pocket for the reservoir only extends to about half the overall height. If you are packing pointy objects, this could be a problem. Also, there are no guide clips or loops for the tube along the shoulder straps. I had to rig something up with velcro strips.

Another minor complaint about the design of the shoulder straps is the total lack of loops or hooks to add clips or my cell phone holder etc.. I also wish the waist straps had organizeer clips to tuck the excess material out of the way. I will try to transfer the ones from my Deuter.

But thesee minor complaints aside, this is an excellent pack for bike commuting or touring with plenty of room and adjustability. Quality seems to be excellent and I am confident it will last me a while.
