STP UK/US size conversion problem on this jacket

Reviewed by Patricia from NJ on Thursday, March 19, 2015
I ordered this in UK8, which the STP sizing chart says equals US XS, which is my normal size (though sometimes I wear S in a slim cut jacket—I'm 5'4" 110 lb). But it's absolutely huge on me, at least 2 sizes too big. Even the sleeves are baggy and way too long. Otherwise, it's a nice jacket, a good multi-season weight, not too light or heavy. The Rosehip color in person isn't the dark fuchsia I see on screen—it's definitely a soft red (though on the pinker side of red, not orangey). Now (after I got it) I see that STP actually shows two different US sizes for this jacket. If I hover my cursor over the UK sizes next to the image of the jacket, what appears is (8: US size 6)—and that's what I find on other websites that convert US/UK sizes. If I had known that I wouldn't have ordered it. Another reviewer who said she is my size (5'4 110 lb) said the UK 8 fit her like an XS, and I had also relied on that before ordering. But now I find that review astonishing, as this is even bigger than any S I've ever tried on; it's even too big layered over something else substantial.
