Verified Buyer Reviewed by Dee from CA on Thursday, February 21, 2013looks good on me, but not breathable as expected if you sweat a lot.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by The Warlock from Claremont, CA on Tuesday, February 12, 2013Excellent stylish jacket but it was not true to size and the 'small' size was far too small.
Reviewed by SallyCat from Milwaukee, WI on Thursday, February 7, 2013This is hands down my favorite jacket! It's light enough to wear on a warm day and warm enough to wear on a cold day to block the wind. It's super stylish and fitting as well. My boyfriend talked me into getting it and I fell in love with it the moment I put it on. I wear it on a hike in the spring/fall as well as underneath my snowboarding jacket in the winter while I'm shredding!

No it does not
With the proper layering underneath this should work for you.
I would say yes but definitely size up a size. It would be best for warmer Spring skiing or layering over/under for somewhat colder, drier temps (out West).
“The sizes seem to be different between the advertisement and the colour and sizing chart. Can you help me? I am usually a size 12 in Australia.”
Each brand has their own sizing as there is not an industry standard. It will still be the same measurements in correlation with the number size on our size chart. It is just a different size range. I hope this helps.
This jacket will be wind and water resistant. Soft shells can stand moisture for a limited time until become too saturated and it soaks through. They work fine for light showers, snow and running from the car to the store if it's a heavy rain.
